Terror Tacos is a 100% vegan taco restaurant and bar located on South Grand Boulevard in Saint Louis, Missouri. The walls are dark, the lighting moody, the music heavy and loud, and silent horror movies and memorabilia haunt the space. Gothic-framed images of rock and metal giants adorn a bright pink wall, and neon “blood” drips from the tin ceiling. Terror Tacos conjures up the dark side of plant-based cuisine and branding. The menu creations are equally as eclectic, grounded in authenticity, then twisted into unique, yet familiar, flavors and textures. There truly is nothing like Terror Tacos.
At the height of the pandemic, brothers Bradley and Brian started tossing around the idea of opening an all-vegan taco joint that represented who they were: horror movie-loving, thrash/metal-listening bros who worshipped tacos. It was the only restaurant idea they would consider because it was exactly who they were. It is the kind of place they would want to hang out at, and it serves the kind of food they would want to eat. Pretty simple. After opening in March of 2021 with a carry-out only model, Terror Tacos has expanded to having a full bar, and extensive menu and a loyal following.
